Why we exist

Psychological treatment is hard to access. We make it less so.

For most people in the UK, getting timely, high-quality psychological treatment is hard. NHS waiting lists are long. Private practice is hard to negotiate. Workplace EAPs can be limited in scope. Some pathways are inconsistent.

And for the people whose job it is to refer for treatment, case managers, commissioners, claims handlers, HR teams, the experience is even harder. They are stuck navigating a market that wasn’t built for them.

Mind Right was built to fix that. A single, clinically-governed provider, with a nationwide network, designed around the realities of the people who refer mental health treatment. And, just as importantly, the depth of clinical expertise to meet all needs.

Mind Right was created by Pete Clark and a leadership team drawn from occupational therapy, case management and psychological services. From different sides of the same sector, they kept seeing one problem: timely access to evidence-based psychological treatment was the single biggest gap in modern rehabilitation.

Mind Right was built as a start-up within handl Group, giving the operational backbone to scale an approach that works. The clinical model has stayed the same throughout. The reach is now nationwide.
